Unless, Of Course, They’re Demon Possessed
So I babysat again today. Different set of kids. Some were lovely tykes. Others…not so much.
So while I still hold to the belief that little people, by the mere “fearfully and wonderfully made-ness” of their little bodies and minds, declare the glory of God, I have to add that when they speak and act they more often declare the “fallen shortness” of man. It’s too bad.
But it gives us a chance to love our enemies, and to practice the art of being long-suffering. Both things God wants us to learn. He wants to mold us into the image of his Son, after all. And how would he do that if we were, always and ever, only treated well by the world and its inhabitants?
