So what’s the thinking behind Kickin’ it With Calvin?

I’ve been all over the blogosphere talking to people of different persuasions and I have been somewhat surprised to find that many people think that Calvinists are evil, hateful heretics.

But what can you do? It does little good to argue with people. If they think Calvinists are evil, they aren’t likely to change their minds unless the Spirit gives them some insight they’ve not previously had.

So, I figure if I can’t argue people out of their perception of Calvinists I might as well get a chuckle out of the things they say.

Wow! A Calvinist with a sense of humor? Doesn’t that blow your mind? Many of you see Calvinists as Sadists who curse their neighbors and kick their cats.

Stick around. You may find out that we aren’t as awful as you’ve been taught.

Not everything on this blog is meant to be funny. Some of it I’m deadly serious about. What can I say? I am, after all, a Calvinist and I do, after all, believe that God is holy and just and that while God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, there is a hell waiting for people that will not bow to his authority.
